Most Rust project members review code on Github, i.e., outside an IDE. So we are all very well-aware of that being a common way to read code and we're keeping this in mind for language extensions. Every time someone says "but you can just hover this in your IDE", someone replies "code isn't always read in IDEs". This sentiment is very much as alive as it always was.
