Jake GoldProgrammers need to start meditating nowFor over 20 years, the meditative focus of programming has been one of the best parts of my job. Every week I’d spend countless hours in a flow state, which quiets the default mode network. The DMN is responsible for daydreaming/reflection but also rumination/worrying, so quieting it settles your mind. If I didn’t manage to write code for a week, I’d start to notice it. Now it’s context switching all day I’m clearly much more productive now. I’m doing five things at once very effectively, switching between multiple agent sessions from morning to night. After working full-time like this for ~8 months, one thing I’m sure of is that this way of working involves much less time spent in a flow state.

[Fupio] If someone you follow, commented or posted somewhere you are not in, should you see that on your timeline? I think there was a separate page for that in FriendFeed. This would certainly would increase the engagement but it was definitely not FriendFeed spirit I guess.

Danny Sale I'd be for either, whether it be n the timeline, or on a separate page. The thing I miss about Facebook is that at one point you just saw what everyone was doing. Now it's a chore to keep up with friends there.

With Fupio, I ditched Feedly. I can follow all of the RSS updates from my timeline. Had to deal RSS formatting issues quite a bit but it's in a good shape now. Will be fixing issues as they appear. Works just fine with 30 different websites so far

Şu an biraz RSS özelliklerine odaklandım kullanıcıları tutundurabilmek adına. /streams sayfasından RSS'lere abone olunabiliyor, ayrıca settings kısmında profiline başka servislerdeki profillerini bağlayabiliyorsun.
